| Convergence in New York City... not as good as it
sounds, unfortunately, and I didn't have very much fun, for many reasons...
but here are the photos.

| Jenn did the F/X makeup, Jeff shot the photos, I sat or stood very still for 4 hours. This was inspired by a Joel-Peter Witkin (?) photograph, but the final product was quite different from the original. think Jeff calls this series "Well-Grounded Woman" *groan* A note on nudity: These photos will probably shock my mom, who is not quite as comfortable with my body as I am, ha ha. Seriously, this was possibly the most professional shoot we've ever done. It was no less mentally comfortable or professional than trip to the doctor. I had Jenn in the room with me as well as Jeff and a guy who was filming the process for a documentary. Any time I had to shift positions or move the drape I was using (I had several, of various levels of opacity), everyone dropped all recording devices and pretty much watched the floor until I said I was in position. Jeff, of course, had to give me some direction, but I don't think anyone in the whole room got more than a PG look at me. And, frankly, I think the photos are pretty tasteful. |
